Burbank unless you come in to LAX at night
Agree with above. Also flights may be cheaper (Southwest) than LAX. Traffic can be lighter as well.
Burbank and save an hour.
Burbank is better
LAX is the bigger airport which has pros and cons. Mainly, it is always packed and always busy with way more flights going in and out. The traffic in and out of Los Angeles can be pretty horrific at certain times. Burbank is a very small airport, but it makes wait times almost non existent. Ease of pickup and drop off. Driving to Tarzana from an airport (having never made that particular drive) I think the safer bet is Burbank. I just personally try to always fly in and out of Burbank whenever possible. Google maps does a great job and predicting travel times when listing time of day. This may aid in your decision.
I highly recommend flight from Burbank than LAX especially if you live in Tarzana much closer less traffic
