If its a controlled narcotic, you don't. These particular pharmacists at this location illegally practice medicine by over riding the doctor who wrote the prescription. They even refuse to give pain medicine to cancer patients, its absolutely appalling. For some reason, they have taken the war on opiates into their own hands. Now, I am all for getting a hold on the opiate epidemic but chronically ill people are suffering because these pharmacists here aren't even qualified enough to know who the abusers are and who the real true patients are. I've been getting the same exact medicine from the same exact doctor, taking it to the same walmart every two weeks like clockwork for the past 3 years, 3 YEARS! Now i'm stereotyped by them and treated as an opiate abusing drug addict. Now they are refusing to fill my anxiety prescription. Pharmacist Julia Jacobs told me right there in the pharmacy that Alprozolam is an opiate. It is, in fact, Benzodiazepine, NOT an Opiate.
I go to a medical doctor: an M.D. or D.O. Depending upon circumstances you might try a Vet.
