I would definitely take a concealed carry course and get my concealed carry license. Knowing how to handle a firearm is 99% of owning one. It won't do you any good if you don't know how to use it safely. They also have courses dedicated to teaching women how to carry and use their firearms effectively. I believe Paradise Outdoors is just a gun range, but they may also have courses like these. I would Google CCW course in your area. Hope this helps!
