well, masks are still a requirement in California, so expect that you will need to wear a mask inside every business still. I have gone to a few of the retail and food businesses here and they all require social distancing, wearing mass, and they have hand sanitizer out for you to use, etc. a lot of the same practices that you would see in place elsewhere.
The different stores each have their own policies, but you must wear a mask to enter all of them.
