Starting in June of 2017, the park is employing a "mobi-mat" for wheelchair accessibility from the wooden swim beach boardwalk to the 1,200' long swim beach. That will be in place for summer seasons only. There is also a "mobi-chair" that can be borrowed for accessibility into the swim beach waters. The new coastal boardwalk, which provides a quick route to the natural shoreline (ungroomed 4,000' portion of the park's shoreline used for nature viewing, not designated for swimming), is also handicap accessible.
There are ramps throughout the park trails as well.
