How long does a round trip take? And can you stop at towns between and catch the train at a later time?

We went on the Polar Express. There were no stops. The ride lasted about 1 hour & 45 minutes. Summer trips may have a different schedule.

We took the dinner train to Laural. No stopping between. It was slow so you can see everything and enjoy the ride. Well worth it.
