Great and simple experience at a great cost. We went for the wild West day and the characters were so funny and friendly. We are definitely going to do it again! There is no air conditioning on the train so when you find a seat make sure it's by a window that will open because the train is so old some of the windows will not budge. So make sure you can get by a window to get good air flow. It does stop in a little town called Metamora which is a cute little shopping town. They do have festivals so try to schedule your train right around one of those events. Drink and food and small bag coolers are allowed on the train so it's a good time to pick up some lunch since you have about an hour and a half train ride and they leave at high Noon. The little town they go to remind me very much of a small town festival with arts and crafts and homemade goods

I had a wonderful time. The train was older and I think it gave you a feeling of how the travel may have been a hundred years ago. The little town we visited was really cool. All the cabins lined up in what must've been the layout of towns years ago. Great experience. Glad I was able to experience this. I will be back.

This was alot of fun. Perfect time to go. Only 28 people on the train, not too hot.

My family and I went to experience polar express, it was a surprise to the kiddos as watching polar express on Christmas Eve has become one of our most loved family traditions. …

We went on the Polar Express. There were no stops. The ride lasted about 1 hour & 45 minutes. Summer trips may have a different schedule.
U may nit be able to pwrk in station parking lot but there sre bigger public lots in short walking distance.

Should have prices online. It varies
Use Google
It's a bit hard to answer that without knowing your specific limitations, if any. They have a step stool to the train steps & the conductor helps, if needed, in addition to using the handrails. It was icy & snowy when we went, I saw people of all ages on the train. I hope that helps you.
It varies depending on the trip. Not expensive, my husband and I took a round trip ride from Connorsville to Metamora and back for $50.
Fall hours

Yes, this area is still in the Eastern Time Zone which is the same as Cincinnati.
The train runs daily. But check the website to find a listing of full details.
Are the passenger cars enclosed so that you are protected from the outside elements if it is a cold day?
