How does someone get their money back when they ordered through the app and McDonald's wouldn't make it since they were glad to close the entire drive-thru for almost 45 minutes until breakfast started?

In my experience. (I use the app alot) in a few business days they refunded the order back to the card it was charged on. Usually an email will be sent when this happens to notify the customer.
