If I remember correctly it used to be Meijers Thrifty Acres
It was originally Meijer's Thrifty Acres. As a high school student in the birthplace of Meijer, we studied the store's origin. The s was possessive, as belonging to Meijer, the last name of the store's founder. He was originally a barber who gave the cheapest haircuts, then started a small market that expanded into what you see today.
It used to be called meijers thrifty acres but the supper store shortened it to meijers
Nope. I believe it's only gone by Meijer. Or Meijer Thrifty Acres years ago
