In some theaters there are more "private" 2-4 person tables in the very back. If you check out purchasing the tickets online they show you the theater layout where you can pick your seats. You aren't committed to buy them online if you take a look BUT it's your best chance at getting the ones you want of course as they are "assigned" now.
All long tables
Some of the smaller theater rooms do have smaller tables, especially the new Chunky's in Manchester.
