No showers or running water in the toilets. There is very fresh water from the well and pump. 20 years at Barnes Field, a very nice and quiet spot.
You can take showers at Pinkham Notch Visitors Center off of Rte 16. Dolly Copp now has coin operated showers as well. Barnes Field was originally intended fr group camping, but a lot of hikers stay there now. It is Primitive camping at it's best. There is an old water pump and a few pit toilets. That's it.
Go there you won't be disappointed!
