Wonderful little park!!! Stopped for a 20min visit stretch. Walked the path to the swimming pool/beach. It's a great place even just to do what we did.

We stayed at Moose Brook in June 2022 at site 020. We loved it. The showers and bathrooms are some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen (you have to pay for showers). The sites are extremely private but you can hear your site neighbors if they’re talking/laughing loudly. We had Sprint cell reception at the site. It was very affordable and also extremely close to town (Gorham) for restaurants and shopping.

Great state park. Classic American CCC project from the Great Depression era of the 1930s. Remarkably well-maintained, and the staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. They obviously take great pride in their work, and it shows. Lots of mosquitoes in early June when I was there, but that's par for the course that time of year. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the proximity to the highway and railroad which made for a few sleep interruptions due to the sound of trucks or trains in the middle of the night. Not a major issue for me, but for those looking for absolute quiet you may need to go elsewhere. And did I mention they have squeaky clean bathrooms and hot showers for 25 cents per minute? Nice.

Excellent State Park, very well-maintained with clean bathrooms. Showers work using quarters. Tent sites available under tree canopy or in a field. The person in the office was friendly and efficient. The campsite had a fire ring and a picnic table and was reasonably flat. Really enjoyed staying here!

The only time you can directly access is during major atv events once or twice a year. The trailhead parking is less than a mile from the trail parking area.
Not from the park but the trails are nearby
I don't know. I don't live in Gorham anymore.
