The raptor center and vet's office are staffed by different people. The raptor center is ran by 100% volunteers and we treat the birds that we care for very well. Unfortunately because the birds in our care are still wild we do not allow people to touch them. Our goal is to release them back into the wild. We do take the birds that cannot be released out to different events for the public to see and learn but still do not allow touching. It is a liability issue.
I'm sorry, I don't think they do. You might want to call them. I've started going to another vet due to a bad experience there with my dog. Being a animal lover I sure hope they treat the animals in the rapture program better then they treated my dog when I took her to her toenails clipped.
