No they do not give you any additional speakers or radios. You must bring your own if you do not want to use your car radio.

It appears you can only use a radio as the speakers used to be attached to the poles which do not have wires anymore.
As far as I know you have to use the radio but I never knew anything about using a speaker. I imagine if they did it for people in the past they most likely still do.
