Hattie B's sides are much better. Gus's chicken is traditional fried with comfort sides. Hattie B's offers levels of heat for the chicken. Both are great chicken restaurants but if your looking for hot chicken its Hattie B's for sure.
If you want HOT, Hattie B's. If you want regular (but excellent) fried chicken, then Gus's.
Both
Hattie B's for sure in my opinion.
Two totally different type places for me Gus's was more traditional style fried chicken (drums, thighs, breast with a kick fried into the crust... Hatties was jointed leg quarter (thigh and drum) and seemed much greasier than but definitely spicier... Both are great and its just up to your preferences...heck try them both and let us know
Hattie Bs was awesome!
I liked both. But if you like things more on the spicy side I'd go with hattie bs
