First time at Hattie B’s and it was delicious! I got the 3 wing combo which came with two sides, I got the fries and bacon and cheese grits. I got medium heat for my chicken and it was great, it gave it a good kick of flavor but not so much that I couldn’t taste anything else. The grits were great as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming Memphis!

Solid location, handful of indoor and outdoor seating options. Big screens to watch games on. Tenders are also good besides the classic options. Mac and cheese are a favorite, I’d skip the bacon grits, very salty and bland. Also disappointed by the banana pudding, almost watery and way too sweet. I like that the wait and experience is easier than Gus, don’t see that huge of a difference between the big names. Consistent and professional service every time which I appreciate.

Yes Mam! First time trying this place out, and it was a hit. Love the chicken, and the fries were good. The waffle is one of a kind, and I loved the taste of them so much. I will be back soon. Also, the food was good the next day, so that is a major plus for me.

Yes they have regular chicken .
Hattie B's hottest type of chicken called Shut the Cluck up is on a scale of 5 which is hotter than Gus's World Famous Spicy Fried Chicken and any sauce at Buffalo Wild Wings, but another known chicken place, Popeye's, is hotter. No waiver is necessary. Vinegar with spices seasoned chicken skin isn't as hot as just spiced marinated throughout the whole chicken.
Hattie B's sides are much better. Gus's chicken is traditional fried with comfort sides. Hattie B's offers levels of heat for the chicken. Both are great chicken restaurants but if your looking for hot chicken its Hattie B's for sure.
Yes all there locations serve Beer Draft and Bottle. I've had it both was personally.

They are consistently busy from open to close every day so far. I keep waiting for them to slow down. Still an hour and a half to get food. Gus's is about half that, with better chicken, but not as good sides.
