No camping overnight in wooden teepees! It's a recreated Mewuk indian village! However, the land is sacred and is to be respected as such!
I camped there and no, there was not a space to camp inside the teepees. They weren't monitored but they were small and wet inside. You wouldn't want to sleep in them.
There is an environmental camp with seven umachas. You can rent the whole site and sleep in the bark houses.
