The store on property is actually quite nice. I was definitely surprised by the selection and price. The deli is great too. Was not expecting to find birthday cakes!
I would not say "grocery store" so much as "general store". If you're from any city or large town, a grocery store is more like a Stop & Shop, Price Chopper, Shaw's. At Jay Peak you can find what you need at the General Store outside the pump house and at the base of the mountain but don't expect to do your weekly shop for provisions. The closest place I know to go is about a half hour away. They just put in a super Wal-mart in Derby maybe a year ago or less. I'm not really sure what else is closer since we're only up there five or six times a year
Yes there is a grocery store outside in the building on the right. And one down the road
