Retail companies are in a transition to go with less cashiers and more self checkouts. Walmart is not the only one doing this, but it's the most complained about due to the amount of customers. If you ever feel like they should have more registers open, and not because you done want to wait for the one person in front of you to finish, then tell one of the managers in the yellow vest. They are customer service manager. The company goal is to have no more than 3 people in line, including the one currently checking out. Yes, hiring and payroll still can cause staffing issues and a lot of people that are hired want a paycheck but don't want to actually go to work.
Go to the check out line and ring yourself out ohok
Cause that's walmart! Most have self check outs... I usually ring myself up! Beats waiting in long lines.
Which is stupid because some people like my pregnant butt need a job
Corporate manager won't let them hire more cashiers
