You have to have paperwork that proves it's a service dog as per the updated state of Michigan guidelines on service animals. If you cannot provide that, they will force you to leave the dog in the car. Restrictions on this changed and got more strict since covid because of the myth that dogs carry the virus.

My pup is a toy size and no one ever asks about him. But he is WELL BEHAVED, doesn't bark, and he sits in a bag. I usually ask an associate at the front if he's fine to come in before just assuming.
