Think it depends on the store, but have been at several and never seen a dog inside. Many have outdoor kennels you can put a dog in.

We were there Memorial Day weekend and both our dogs were inside with us with no problems. There were a few other dogs inside as well.
We were just at Cabelas on Saturday and yes they do allow dogs. Saw at least 6 r 7 dogs in there
