I'm real sure it's okay, why not, right? I've seen people with metal detectors a lot of times over at Matapeake combing the people beach and dog beach. Matapeake is the same distance away from Route 50 as Terrapin is, but it's the opposite direction. I favor Matapeake more for the dog beach, Terrapin has nice trails for people and bikes.

Im not sure but it should not be a problem since the park its in a very secluded area and most of the times its not busy and its far away from bothering any one ao u should be fine !! I hope u find the big old pot of gold
