How long does it take for them to give you your deposit back on your card for a free room?

I've seen the $50/ per night hold take as long as 7 days. It is typically up to your credit card company. It took capital one 10 days to make my funds available again on my credit card.

Mine has back next day or two! I've used Costco Citicard.

My took 5 days

Mine took 3-4 days, I think it depends on the clerk, I've had it take both longer and quicker.

I think mine goes off day after checkout.
