How do I go abt renewing my handicap parking plaquard?

I went today to renew my handicap placard ( blue color) but I didn't have an appointment. However, they have someone that comes out and checks to see what people need. When I told her what I wanted, she said that I could do it, but the waot would be about an hour, or I could make an appt. It was cold, so I'm making an appt. HOWEVER, I didn't ask her if I need a slip from my Dr. Oop! Guess I'll just have to call tomorrow ( but I've already made my appt.). Hope this helps.
