Goody Cole was the first woman in New Hampshire to be burned as a witch, if I recall correctly. There is a plaque in the restaurant under all the license plates that give the history.
Eunice "Goody" Cole was convicted of witchcraft in Hampton in 1656 and spent much of the remainder of her life in prison in Boston.
