Swim, soak, tennis, basketball, do Big Trees State park. Do the Angels Camp museum too!
It depends on what you like to do and what time of year it is. In the spring & summer there are quite a few lakes that are close by for skiing, fishing or whatever. The giant redwoods, or Sequoia's are not too far away. The resort itself has a rec room with video games, pool table, air hockey, ping pong. There's a great golf course right next door. They have basketball courts, heated pools, hot tubs! Plus site seeing in historic Murphy, The famous frog jumping that Mark Twain wrote about certain time of year. In the winter you can go up to the snow line & have all kinds of fun too.
There are great swimming pools, an arcade, pool table, foosball and the resort sits on a golf course.
There are 2 heated pools, 3 hot tubs, a toddler pool, a playground, a tennis court, a basketball court, plus an arcade and ping pong. Plus it's a great place to bbq your dinner.
If you golf, Sequoia Woods is just past Arnold as well as the BIG TREES -aka Sequoias. Camps restaurant at Greenhorn Creek, which is golf course adjacent to the resort, is very good. If you like sushi give Dokies a try in Murphys-reservations are highly recommended. If you like wine you're in the heart of wine country. Have fun.
