None of the Train Clubs that I know of are doing that this year.
No, they do a thing at Science Central now, but that's past, it's right around Thanksgiving. I bet they didn't like worrying about their expensive models possibly being damaged or worse!

Been mall walking the last few weeks, and didn't see a model railroad. On the bright side, lost 27 lbs!
