Go and get lost in the majesty of things greater than yourself.
Very beautiful, a unique experience! Please don't go there if you hate beautiful things!!!!
A picture is worth a thousand words... Look at the photos. There is a tree here called "The Brotherhood Tree" that is 19ft in diameter, another called "The Fallen Giant" that is a HUGE diameter deadfall which has 2 or 3 10ft-diameter trees growing from it (meaning it is probably over 3 thousand years old). Another called "The Bridal Veil" trees & plaque of defining words by Joseoh B. Strauss.. You will leave having felt the true meaning of his words: "Sink down, oh traveler, on your knees, God stands before you in these trees."
If your not convinced by all the amazing pictures and great reviews, im not sure if anything can change your mind. Thats fine, to each their own. For me it was truly an amazing experience, and if I was in the area I would spend the time to go back.
Watch gravity falls.. to me its 100% trees of mystery. It's a very beautiful place. The crazy thing the trees do, and now they just built the canopy trail so you can actually walk up in the trees and get a different view. Super fun place
We started out going just for the exercise....but was so blessed by the majestic trees, views, fresh air, and just the whole experience. Kind of hard to explain....you need to experience it to understand.
They are so much more Amazing that you can imagine...TAKE THE GONDOLA RIDE, YES IT IS WORTH IT... And all the carvings, the gift shop and the knowledge you can get are just a bonus.
Good question. It is a concentration if unique old growth redwoods. A couple trees were even in Riples Believe it or Not. Spectaqular grove. A good stop while exploring the redwoods between Prick and Crescent City.

Definitely worth seeing it once in your life.
