Yes - you can approach the falls by car from either direction. Parking for about 6 cars.
You can drive across a bridge just below the falls. Small, two lane bridge with roadside parking at each end. You can walk across the bridge and experience the falls up close. You can also hike/climb up the bank on each side of the falls.
Yes drive right up to. Parking available on one side. Can stand on the bridge and take in the beauty.
The short trip from Tellico Plains takes you right to river. Stop by The Beach walk up window restaurant for a meal or ice cream. Go on up river til get to where road divides. (Left goes to Cherohala Skyway) Go to right and river is on right. A way up cross a bridge and river is on left. Then come to next bridge. And wow! Falls on right as drive across bridge. At end is parking for some. Walk back on bridge and feel the spray! Go up the trail to top of falls. Love the roar of the falls! Make sure go after rains to see it at its best. More spray. On up road from there on left is the Baby falls.
There is a bridge that looks straight onto it, parking is feet away from the bridge. However if you want to touch the water you will have to walk down a rock path just a little bit.
The bridge below the falls is an excellent place to see it from. They have limited parking spots. The walk to the top is worth it, especially when it's hot out.
Yes... You can look at it from your car & small parking area just across the bridge.
