I like looking for electronic department
It would seem to me that there are more sales staff on the floor than customers....as such you will tend to see many paired up and in thier own conversations.(fraternizations?) A bit on the frustrating side when you want to get help. I have had the same situations as many of you have mentioned here. In such matters, you need to acsert yourself and just walk up to them and state your bussiness. That should get the ball rolling for you. If all else fails you can always take your questions to the customer service counter. Unfortunate but we live in a rual community. As such we have limited local sources for consumer products. The real get back that I utilize is to go and pick there brains, research what you want in depth. Then go and shop for it on amazon or any other discount mailorder. Thats my way of paying for what I want at a savings. And boo hoo for the stores that allow such poor customer service. Hope this helps you. I feel your pain. And it shouldnt be.
Because no one wants to do there jobs.
Why are you scared to ask for help? If to employees are talking to each other its because they assume you dont need help. Since you know your not asking for it.... Stop being bashful and ask for help.
The reps just need to know you are interested. They get many customers just walking around as they say "wasting time". If you aproach any blue shirt and state your questions or concerns they will give you all the attention they have. They are experts in customer service, not mind reading.
They are all vary helpful. Never have a problem getting help.
While I like the no pressure approach, I have never had trouble finding someone. Like Adam, I tend to check out Electronics.
