Planning to attend the bird walk on Feb. 9th, 2019. Is it a very muddy trail? Will rain cancel walk? Can any age go? My grand daughter is 13 month but will be in a carrier on mom's back. Is the area/trail suitable for beginners?

It is not a difficult trail but there will be rain that weekend and trail will be slick. Trek poles will help, and take it slow.
