Go to nearby Cascadilla Falls. It is a beautiful walk through cascading waterfalls with an endpoint that goes up to the Cornell campus right near a bagel shop with coffee :-)
Plantations at Cornell is a must. Check the local harvest of concord grapes, apples. Pumpkins and squash. Plenty of fall festivals going on locally.

The Commons isnt super big, but its a nice time- I recommend simply strolling around and checking out any businesses that appeal to you. If you have the time, go to some of the water falls in the area, they are beautiful!
