I don't work at BestBuy but I can tell you that you should check that 1) that your output device (whatever you want the sound to come out from) is connected to an audio output jack (often indicated by an speaker, headphone symbol, or a light green color), and powered/turned on if needed. Since this is a desktop computer it may not come with already built-in speakers. 2) Check that your system settings have enabled the sound to come out of that output device. If you have a Windows computer then try picking which one by left or right clicking on the speaker icon on the bottom right section of the screen. If there's only one device listed, then the normal output device is already enabled (therefore, you would only have to plug in the speakers or headphones), as mentioned in item 1.
Hey Judy, do you have your speakers plugged into the correct output? On the back of your computer there should be a green circle hole or it would have a small picture of headphones.
