What are the people like?
There are camping areas, beach currently closed from high water. Cabin rentals at the state park
Its very relaxing the beach is sometimes crowded weekdays are best time to go. We usually rent a camping spot and swim over by the sites instead of the beach area if on a weekend. Bathroom and showers are available and some grills off to the side for cookouts still if you dont stay to camp and just do a day visit.
