I will be visiting from Detroit in late June. Is there cover charge or some form of member fee? I was there 5 years ago and it was a delightful place for a drink and fun conversation.

If you are there before 11pm there is no cover charge. After 11 you have to purchase a 1 time membership fee for $5 bucks that is good for a year.

All bars that do not serve food the law requires you to get a membership! Ohenrys is a membership bar. $7 for a membership and you're good till the end of the year

You may be charged a $5 membership fee, but there is no cover charge for members! Sometimes members are charged a cover fee for special events in The Underground (in the same building as O.Henry's).

Bars are private clubs here (vs restaurants), they all have memberships and sometimes cover charges. Inexpensive though

I don't know what the cover is when they have one because it's THAT cheap.
