Not free cost ten dollars to get in
It is free if you're entering by bicycle or on foot. If you're driving in, it's $10 for a day pass, or you can opt for an annual pass for an extra cost.
You can also get the year pass for $45, that will give you access to all the Metro parks in Michigan. One pass per vehicle.
