Karen pretty much nailed it. I'm not sure if this is every weekend...but while I was near Town Point Park, the street meters were offline on Saturday/Sunday. Someone told me street parking was free on the weekends.
There is metered street parking, 0.45 cents per 15 minutes. There is also an app if you choose so you can pay with your phone. There are several garages rates are between 1.50 to 12.00. Unless you park at MacArthur mall which is about 2-3 blocks up, but its 1.00 -10.00
For events, meters are often bagged, which means no street parking. Also for big events, garage parking is $5 payable in cash on entry. Waterside District has valet parking Sunday - Thursday for $7 plus tip, Fridays and Saturdays it is $15 plus tip. Metered parking is free Monday - Thursday after 6 pm and all day Sunday.
