Yes, I was there last weekend and it's still going on.
It was dark, but saw no construction.

I was just at the park last weekend. There is no construction around the lake itself, nor at the Parthenon, as I was inside of it as well. There was labor day weekend events going on and lots of folks picnicking, throwing disc's, etc. Don't wait to go if you've not ever been. Best times to go are this month and next
