Besides valet parking and street parking, Wayne State has two parking structures nearby that are open to the public. One is $7, not sure about the other but cheaper.
They have valet parking on site, it cost $7 when I went in 2017

There is valet parking at The Whitney.
I am a guest and former employee. I plan to arrange complimentary valet parking and cover all gratuities for my guests. They have the option to tip additionally to the Whitney staff.
