I'm not sure about this, but i think that any coffee shop wouldn't like it if you sit there for hours without buying at least a cup of coffee... Maybe try the local library if youre looking for somewhere just to study?
Yes, to benefit from their free wifi and chill atmosphere, you must buy something. They are a business after all. However, you can buy just a cheap cup of coffee or tea and use their wifi all day. If the Bean didn't have this basic rule, it'd be filled with people not contributing to the lighting and internet bill.
if you bring your own mug refills for coffee are only $.95... live a little
Seriously it's one dollar for coffee if you bring your own cup
The library is just a few blocks away. That said, I've sat for hours after finishing my coffee and no one has ever said a thing.
It's an old house, an independently owned coffee shop, and the seating is very limited. Considering it's a business which relies on paying customers to operate, customers should always have the availability to sit where they would like. Studying takes up a lot of space and a lot of time while using their free wifi, getting a $2 coffee which supports a local business is a pretty fair trade.
I would if you are not consuming anything...
It's a business. They need money.
No they dont
