Valley thrift is just that- a thrift store. Like many others here I babe experienced both great and bad consumer service. To me, the good outways the bad. I mean, can I really complain when a stranger didn’t say hi to me when I can buy a brand new suit for $5. It’s the price that you must pay for cheap stuff. From what I can gather, I don’t feel like working there is that great so I don’t blame them for being a little unprofessional.
I thought they were all special needs people, so when the old lady blamed me for stealing I let the manager know about her and didn't confront her.......
The place treats their employees like trash. I can understand them having an attitude. The place isn't good to work at. I'm sure nobody wants to be there, but you know... People have to eat.
My Girlfriend was working there and she said its more so the Managers they are very rude and most of the woman there are rude and as far as the male workers she said they not as rude but can be I Dont Think A Few Of The Managers should work tgere im glad she is not workin THERE!!! Good store bad workers They are Rude ( Reading Road)
I've noticed the attitude, it happens at a lot of place.
At the Valley Thrift, they hire both physically able people as well as those who have limitations. I have shopped at both stores, the one on route 4 and the one on Reading Road. I noticed ,over all, their employees aren't as pleasant. But I make it my goal to thank them for coming to work and making it possible that customer can shop for reasonably priced items.
Most of the employees I have encountered have been very nice. I had an issue one time and that was the person who get the cashiers to come to their registers, first time I saw 5he young girl doing it and it was a train wreck. Lol She will learn tho
