Wondering how the drive will be. We are coming from the east. Pulling a 37 foot travel trailer with a pick up truck. Are there sharp turns, tight roads, etc. to worry about?

It is easy enough but one or two curves might be a little bit to master. Its a great place to be qnd vacation. We love it?

Once you get in to Boone, there are some narrow roads with sharper curves going up to the campground. I just come to a complete stop on the turns and wait for any traffic to move along before I take the turn. You'll also hit one steeper grade on the way. Stay right and hold steady. They'll go around you. Have fun. Boone KOA is great. Really nice folks and they will run off any non-family friendly visitors/campers. Petting zoo is cool for the kids. We hit up Tweetsie, Caverns, and Linville Falls while we were there. Great food out in town to. You'll have BBQ coming out of your ears.
