How is the fishing here? Is this the only campground that looks like you can have a camper right by the lake? Sorry first time coming to dale hollow and I’m not sure where to stay. Looks very nice here?

Lillydale is lovely, but you need to plan ahead. Reserve your campsite online months in advance--the waterfront sites fill up fast.

Lillydale is nice. We live close by. There is also Willow Grove and Obey River campgrounds. All three have sites very close by the Waters edge. We have stayed at all 3. Fishing this time of year is good but lake traffic might make it a challenge. Time of day and time of year makes the difference. I fish the lake more in the fall or late in the evening this time of year. It is a beautiful place regardless. You and your family will enjoy it.

I hear the fishing is really great, but I'm not much of a fisherman. This is a wonderful campground. We stay here at least once every year and we always get a site right on the shore. We love this place. You will too.
