Good location for families with children. There’s a play set in the campground and only 5 mins away are trails and more playgrounds. The dishwashing station was helpful and grey water disposal conveniently located. Facilities were clean and well stocked. The downside was lack of privacy. You can see surroundings campsites even at night and the road is very close by (although quiet at night).

This is a lovely family campground with very nice facilities. Make sure you make your reservations on weekends because this place fills up fast. Each campsite comes with two bags of wood, which is a pretty darn good deal if you ask me.

You park at your campsite so I don't see why not. As long as it's van sized though and not a large camper. Also it's primitive, so no hookups
No office, reserve online. Nice park. One drawback lots of mosquitoes but it was an extremely damp period.

You can, but I would recommend going to the springbrook campground instead. It's right on horse trails and layed out much better for horses.
$20 for both Springbrook and White Oak campgrounds. (Stayed at both a few weeks ago) I believe Metropark members get a few dollars discount.
No electric. Have to walk in about 30 feet
Dogs yes as for price if i recall 20 a night with free wood at the bathrooms
