Will be buying a fake tree next year this is what is left after removing the ornaments and lights on Christmas Day. About made me go Clark Griswald on this. Purchased tree the day after thanksgiving and I actually made a another fresh cut just before putting it in the stand. I’ve bought a tree from here the past 6 years. This is the only one I’ve ever had a problem with. But, after this experience I will definitely buy a pre lit. Changed it from 3 stars to 4. After all the good years I’ve had here with trees that practically lasted till spring I can’t fully base my review one one immensely bad experience.

The owner, Duke, and his family are some of the nicest, most generous people I have ever met. They have an awesome business going that’s family centered and a really great way to get into the Christmas season (or Halloween if you’re counting the corn maze as well). I have never had anything less than an amazing, fun, easy experience here.

Very nice people and very good service but for what they are charging for a fresh cut tree I wouldn't expect all the needles to fall off. Trees already cut and in a lot are one thing but when the tree is cut and immediately put in water at home and this still happens it usually means something else. Granted they did offer people another tree free of charge but this wasn't till days after when most including us had already brought the tree inside and decorated it and such. We'll stick with our old place next year...

This was our second year going to Wheeler Farms for a tree. The first year we got a tree that we enjoyed along with the experience. We even recommended it to friends who all came this year. While they all got great trees we did not. We that we bought a tree that looses its needles quickly. I guess it was a mistake. I posted a poor review on google and within a few hours Duke Wheeler contacted me through Facebook personally. He asked what happened and quickly fixed it for us. He totally went out of his way to make it right with us and for that we are very appreciative of such great customer service.

As of the 2021 season, we are no longer drilling trees. They require a 1/2 in. drill bit, if you'd prefer to do on your own.
