They were short on staff.But the young lady that waited on me was very nice and on top of things.It did take longer to get our food than normal.It is understandable when nobody want to work and get more sitting at home.Hopefully that will get better with time..
Majority of staff quit for "better" paying jobs (most will comeback because they will actually have to work hard for money). So, the store is retraining the employees plus they have to get used to environment... Typically 3 months period. In such situations don't get refund ask for management and explain what happened so the actual cause will be fixed. As a past store manager myself I can tell you I would rather make food over then let staff get away with being lazy. (If I do wrong it doesn't matter cause they will just get refund mentality). However, that is just my opinion on how to make staff better overall
Working shorthanded. Too many new hires. No one wants to work..I eat there just about everyday and always someone new. People still learning. I stay faithful and only return food that's different cause of new cooks and they always get it right and management takes care of it right away. I stand by Applebee's.
