If you plan on hosting an event or coming with a large group, yes. If you are just coming by yourself or with a small group you should be absolutely fine to more or less just walk in (after paying parking fee, of course lol).
No, not really. I had a group of 49, which was a family garhering. If a large group, reserve as son as you can, as I booked in February for july, and was lucky to get the reservation. Those holding reservations however, have the access to the river, we had sites 2 and 3. Great fun. The sites are fee based as well.
You do not need sny reservations unless you need a large grouo area and there are several of those that are first come first serve.
Yeah reservations are the thing. Call the local Park Service or maybe State Park could help too
Not if your just visiting. However, you want to Reserve an area for an event you do need to make reservations.
