No you can start working at Food City at the age 14, you can only bag groceries at that age and limited to working only weekends short shifts. At age 16, you may work longer shifts, and through the week. You will need to submit your application online then call the store for the HR human resources to pull your application. Until you are 18, more than likely you will work as a bagger or cashier. Good luck. If over 18, you could apply for produce, bakery/ deli, meat department, gas n go, frozen and dairy, I would list all that you would be willing to do, so you have more opportunities for employment. I have worked here for 6 years, good place to work. Great for students and people with other jobs as they work around your schedule.
