Yes they do charge but it's worth every penny ! There are cabins and hotels there . A beautiful place to go !
Maggie valley also has cabins for rent for larger groups to stay in and many hotels nearby in Cherokee and Gatlinburg.
$15 per adult. It is SO worth it. They fire bikes up for you to hear and that is cool. There are several hotels/motels, average rates, some have seasonal discounts. You'd just be better to google that question Lots of great places to eat too. Google Maggie Valley NC for seasonal openings etc.
