A friend mentions that on "WEDNESDAYS" anyone can do laundry ALL-DAY--FREEE! Is this really true?? And if so, is it unpleasantly busy and crowded??

No. It's not going anymore. There is a $1.25 1-load/$1.75 2-load wash special every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

A year+ ago, the city sponsored a 9.00 laundry day. It ended abruptly a few months later. I have no idea if it has started again, but you can call, the counter girls can tell you and are pleasant and helpful.
